Race bred heritage
From their inception in 1996 it’s been clear that nothing compares or competes with a Scorpion RIB – they’re better handling, with a softer drier ride, and always a pleasure to drive. By the early 2000’s Scorpion’s production boats were being driven by top powerboat drivers and amateur racers alike to dominate their classes in offshore racing. With a perfect safety record Scorpions continued to break endurance records and travelled further than anyone had done in small powerboats before.

At Scorpion we believe in performance with sustainability. Which is why we work hard to ensure our boats are as fuel efficient as possible.
Light-weight, high-strength hulls designed with state-of-the-art hydrodynamics and the latest high efficiency engines allow some of our single engined models to achieve near identical performance figures to competitors’ twin engined boats that have almost twice the fuel consumption.
And with our low speed electric propulsion option you can cruise at up to 4 knots without burning any fuel at all – perfect for quiet anchorages or not disturbing the guests as you manouvre around the mothership. It’s another way in which we’re committed to making the greenest motorcraft in the world.

Twisted is an engineering and design company with a passion for adventure. We have been developing and producing the most incredible vehicles for the last two decades and our mission is to produce the world’s best RIBs with the Scorpion hulls. Here, in the UK. Twisted Marine has three engineering support centres across the UK in Salcombe, Lymington and Brighton which are coupled with a boutique showroom in Salcombe’s Island Street.
